Racing for the Crown with the American Cancer Society and Liquid Death!

On October 24th, members of the Las Vegas Inferno teamed up with both the American Cancer Society and Liquid Death to raise money for the purpose of fighting cancer. Multiple streamers from LVI joined in on the action, from Pusoko and Serj to Gilyphix and CJ Schultz, competing against other entrants on Shotcall.

The event was streamed on the Inferno Twitch to hundreds of views. Those that tuned in watched as Serj narrowly edged out derbearjuden, CJ Schultz, and nikku611 by only a single crown in order to take home the gold. As a result, Serj received an Inferno Breast Cancer Hoodie, ACS exclusive shirt, and a prize pack from Liquid Death. Yet the night’s focus was not on the brightly-colored, bean-shaped avatars fighting to reach the crown or the prizes that first place would receive–there was a much greater cause behind it all.

Throughout the night, donations poured in, ranging from $5 to $100. Those that donated, based on the size of their donation, could recieve either a Pink set of Disney Ears for $25 donations, or the Limited Run Breast Cancer Awareness Inferno Hoodie for $100. Those that met these marks not only received their great prize but did so for a great cause. Yet those that didn’t meet either goal were still integral in pushing the campaign to the halfway mark, amassing $290 for the charity.

While both the Fall Guys Crown Race Event and Breast Cancer Awareness Month are over, the ability to support the American Cancer Society and their fight against Cancer is never over. You can still donate to the Inferno Fundraiser, which goes directly to the ACS and their cause, and can always donate on the ACS Website. Together, we can Burn Out Cancer.
